Being in conference, in meet-and-greets, in transit, Downtown, and jet lagged so far has not afforded a lot of nature photo opportunities in Atlanta. Admittedly, being in a city with buildings, men in suits, trams, Blacks, Latins, blondes, brunettes, redheads, celebrities, Obama's hope, Starbucks, shopping malls, 05:30 traffic, homelessness, Krispy Kreme, sales tax, the Braves & needing Mapquest are overwhelming for this lifelong island boy. So any man-made structure, architecture, stone, steel, glass, building, tunnel, and lights are strangely beautiful to me.
You are beautiful Atlanta!

Hi! Ashley says as long as you buy her the book, you can use it as long as you want!...
Glad you're enjoying it so much despite your jet lag. Wish i was there to experience the fun and beauty of Atlanta with you...

admittedly overwhelmed.... I can relate to that right now. I have also seen things that I find strangely beautiful in this new city I'm living in, but it's almost too strange, too much to take in. Even my new school - all the halls, doors, rooms, floors - it's too big. I long for the small haven of the Saipan SDA school....... :(
This is the world we live in now. For me, it's the sheer number of choices that I find overwhelming. the grocery store, the teaching store, the many, many education resources and tools available, there's just so MUCH and it boggles my mind! I mean it's great and all but sometimes, I'm like: it'd be nice if there were just two or three things to choose from instead of a million.
Beautiful photos by the way. I'll be linking to this post in an upcoming blog for sure.
Oh I know the feeling! When I was in Philadelphia a couple years ago I was so overwhelmed! There was so much to see and everything was so new and beautiful to this island girl! Atlanta looks just as amazing! Thanks for sharing!
I want to hear all about your new lives! Tam, new blog? Do I need an invite? Hope you are well.
